NSDGA About NSDGA
01

2003 · Where it began

Inspired by their commitment to educating students and their calling to inspire and motivate children, three seasoned, respected, and well-experienced teachers decided to establish their own preschool in Polo, Valenzuela, named Altra Learning Center. Its first school year began in 2003 with thirty-six (36) preschool students. The school was located at the Altra II Building in Pariancillo Villa, Valenzuela City.

02

2006 · Becoming NSDGA

Before the second school year began, Mrs. Jocelyn Anselmo dedicated herself to continuing this noble endeavor. She sustained the school’s operations and gradually strengthened its identity and reputation, ensuring that quality education became accessible to residents of Valenzuela and Obando, Bulacan. In 2006, in response to the strong clamor of parents, the school opened its Grade School Department to offer primary education. With the opening of School Year 2006–2007, the school was renamed Nuestra Señora de Guia Academy (NSDGA). From then on, the institution steadily expanded as its student population grew each year.

2011–2012 · A complete elementary program

In School Year 2011–2012, the first batch of Grade Six pupils graduated, marking the first time NSDGA offered a complete elementary program from Grade 1 to Grade 6. In the same year, the school also opened its Junior High School Department.

In School Year 2017–2018, NSDGA proudly celebrated its first graduates under the K–12 Senior High School Curriculum.

05

2022–2023 · A new campus

In School Year 2022–2023, the newly built campus at Pariancillo Villa was officially opened as the school transitioned from online learning due to the pandemic back to face-to-face classes. The campus initially accommodated students from Preschool to Grade 2.

06

2025–2026 · Strengthening the curriculum

In School Year 2025–2026, NSDGA became one of the selected schools in the country to pilot the Senior High School Strengthened Curriculum. This initiative provides incoming Grade 11 students with a valuable advantage, allowing them to benefit from an enhanced and more future-ready academic program.
