Exciting News! New Kindergarten Age Cut-Off for SY 2025–2026!
The Department of Education has released DepEd Order No. 015, s. 2025, adjusting the age requirement for Kindergarten enrollment.
Children must now be 5 years old on or before October 31 of the school year to qualify for Kindergarten. (This replaces the previous August 31 cut-off.) This adjustment aims to ensure school readiness and align with developmental standards for young learners. Schools and parents are advised to refer to this order when enrolling incoming students.
